ONR Dutyholder Portal Terms of Use Agreement 

All users of the ONR dutyholder portal are required to adhere to these terms of use. By accessing or using the dutyholder portal, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this agreement. 

If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, you must not use the dutyholder portal. 

ONR monitors use of the dutyholder portal, and any users found not adhering to these terms of use will have their access removed.  

  1. System Access– Users should only access the dutyholder portal using their organisation's approved IT equipment. Personal devices must not be used. Users should comply with their own organisation's arrangements for accessing the portal. Users must not access the dutyholder portal from outside the UK.
  1. Info Sec –The ONR dutyholder portal can manage and store information up to and including OFFICIAL SENSITIVE – SENSITIVE NUCLEAR INFORMATION (SNI). Information above this classification level must not be held on the portal. (For further guidance see NISR 2003 – Classification Policy for the Civil Nuclear Industry (onr.org.uk)

  2. Data – Users are responsible for data entry onto the portal and any subsequent extraction from the portal (i.e. downloads/ export). To the best of their knowledge users should ensure data entered is accurate, complete, and up to date.  Any data downloaded from the portal is subsequently uncontrolled.

  3. User accounts – All dutyholders who wish to use the dutyholder portal must nominate a point of contact who will act as the co-ordinator for user accounts for their organisation. All requests for user accounts for access to the dutyholder portal for any organisation must be through their point of contact.  The point of contact will be responsible for notifying ONR of additional account requests, users who no longer require access and periodically confirming the access needs of existing users.

  4. Security – Users login to the dutyholder portal using a username, password and two factor authentication. Users must not share any of their login credentials with anyone. 

  5. Authorised use - The user may access and use the dutyholder portal only in connection with their role within the organisation they represent and in accordance with this agreement. The user agrees not to use the dutyholder portal for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by this agreement. If the user is uncertain about use of the dutyholder portal, they should contact wiredsupport@onr.gov.uk before doing so. 
  1. Reporting Issues – Users shall report any of the following to ONR wiredsupport@onr.gov.uk

    1. They can access information for another dutyholder they don’t believe they should have. 

    2. Information that they suspect exceeds the approved classification limit of the dutyholder portal. 

    3. They become aware of system access by users who should not have access.

    4. Information that may have been recorded incorrectly on the dutyholder portal. 

    5. Any act that maybe detrimental to the security of the dutyholder portal or the integrity of the data it contains.

    6. If they become aware of any other breach of security or these terms of use related to the dutyholder portal.
